My family, especially my sister, inspired these letters. She was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 7, and I saw first hand that everyone interprets language differently. Each character, in each letter, gives life and personality to that letter, and the character’s relationship to that letter can be interpreted uniquely in everyone’s own individual way. The message is simple, we all read and visualize language uniquely, abd the more our society realizes this the more knowledgeable and understanding will be about dyslexia and other learning.
On October 7th 2007 I was charged with criminal defacement of Burlington north transit property. They came to my home, went through my belongings, my studio, my room, and my art, all of this was done illegally.
I've made wood cut outs of each letter of the alphabet. I'm selling them for 30 dollars a piece (if you would like a spell out (name, word, etc..) it's 20 dollars a letter.

when you purchase a letter you become a part of the “free James” project. All money earned will go solely to hiring a lawyer and fines. The initial cost for a lawyer is 2,000, I need to sell 67 letters to pay for these cost. I will keep taking orders and editioning each letter until I have reached my goal.
